Paul Sahre

Paul Sahre is a graphic designer who is probably best known for his book cover designs, and for his frequent illustrations in the New York Times. Pau Sahre is also an author, and his latest book is a graphic memoir called Two-Dimensional Man. In it he tells the stories behind his illustrious 30-year design career, and we're going to hear a few of those stories.

Debbie talks to Paul about the power of saying no to clients, and about a meeting with Steely Dan that went off the rails. “I stood up and I said, ‘Guys I quit, I don’t work this way.’ And right then Fagan jumped up and and just put his finger in my face and said ‘Fuck you!’”
